Your privacy, plainly explained

Sunlit Pane (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Hold Fast World Inc. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at hello.sunlitpane@gmail.com.

We only collect information you choose to give us or that is needed to run the site:

• Email address: if you sign up for our newsletter or contact us directly.
• Account details: your email address and sign-in credentials (or your Google profile name and email if you sign in with Google), so you can access your membership and downloads.
• Membership and order records: what you've subscribed to or bought and its status, so we can give you access.
• Order details: if you purchase a pattern kit (name, shipping/billing address, items ordered). Payment information is handled by our payment processor and is never stored on our servers.
• Basic site analytics: anonymous, aggregated data like page views and device type, to help us understand what’s helpful.

Our studio tools (Difficulty Scorer, Cost Estimator, Cutting Calculator, Image Buddy) run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us or stored anywhere on our end.

• To send you patterns, orders, or tutorials you asked for.
• To send occasional newsletters if you signed up (you can unsubscribe any time).
• To reply to questions you email us.
• To improve the site based on which pages people actually find useful.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.

• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling our products, managing subscriptions, taking payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Service providers who host the site, its database, and sign-in.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Hold Fast World Inc is the data controller for this information. We process account and order data to perform our contract with you, newsletter data with your consent, and analytics and security data under our legitimate interests. We keep data only as long as needed for these purposes or as the law requires, then delete or anonymise it. We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards such as encryption and access controls.

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello.sunlitpane@gmail.com.

We use a small number of cookies for basic site functionality and anonymous analytics. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

• Unsubscribe from any email we send using the link at the bottom.
• Ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello.sunlitpane@gmail.com.

Sunlit Pane is a craft site intended for adults. Stained glass involves sharp glass and hot tools; children should only work with direct adult supervision. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For big changes we’ll try to mention it in the newsletter too.
