You’re welcome to browse, read tutorials, and use our free calculators for personal and professional stained glass work. Please don’t try to break, scrape, overload, or misuse the site.

When you buy a pattern collection or download a free pattern, you get a personal, non-transferable license to:

• Cut and build the pattern for your own enjoyment.
• Sell finished stained glass pieces you cut and soldered yourself, in reasonable quantities.
• Share photos of your finished work: a credit is appreciated.

Please don’t:

• Resell, share, or redistribute the pattern files themselves.
• Use them for mass production or manufacturing.
• Republish our tutorials or images without permission.

Sunlit Pane is a trading name of Hold Fast World Inc. When you use this site or buy from us, you are entering into an agreement with Hold Fast World Inc. By continuing to use the site, you agree to these terms.

Keep your sign-in details private; you're responsible for activity under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be of legal age to buy from us.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars; taxes are calculated at checkout.

Tools membership: $12 CAD per month, billed monthly and renewing automatically until cancelled. New members get one 30-day free trial per account; a card is required, and you won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. You can cancel any time from your account page.

Pattern collections: one-time purchases, delivered as PDF downloads from your account page.

The Difficulty Scorer, Cost Estimator, Cutting Calculator, and Image Buddy are available to tools members. They provide helpful estimates for planning. Real projects vary. Treat the numbers as guidance, not guarantees. We don't guarantee the site or tools will always be available or error-free.

Please don't use the site unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to interfere with its security (for example malware, probing, or scraping). Don't reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the tools or pattern files, or get around their access limits.

Hold Fast World Inc owns the site, tools, patterns, tutorials, and the Sunlit Pane brand. Buying a pattern gives you a personal licence to make pieces from it, as described above.

We may suspend or end access to an account for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

Stained glass involves sharp glass, hot solder irons, flux fumes, and lead-containing materials. You are responsible for your own safety: work in a ventilated space, wear eye protection, and follow the safety notes in our tutorials. Adults only; children only with direct adult supervision.

The site, tools, tutorials, and patterns are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sunlit Pane and Hold Fast World Inc are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or its products.

We may update these terms occasionally. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
